Mayem Lake : One of the most popular tourist destinations in Goa, Mayem Lake is surrounded by hills all around and this makes it offer an enthralling view to the visitors. To further make the visitors enjoy the beauty around the lake, boating facilities are available. There are many stalls and cafes near the lake which offer snacks and drinks.
Arvalem Caves : Also known as the Pandava caves, Arvalem caves are ancient rock cut caves which take you back to the mythological tale of Mahabharata. These caves date back to the 6th century. The Pandavas took shelter in these caves during their period of exile. This is why these caves take their name from the Pandavas.
Saptakoteshwar Temple : The Saptakoteshwar temple at Narve is counted among the six great sites of temples of Lord Shiva. Goan architecture can be noticed through the walls of the temple. The temple is beautifully painted and decorated with chandeliers.
Arvalem Waterfall : Flowing down from the mountains at a height of 50 metres, Arvalem waterfall is a beautiful picnic spot located 8 km from Bicholim. The Arvalem Waterfall is a scenic and beautiful picnic spot. The waterfall is surrounded by the Rudreshwar temple which further adds to its beauty.
Shopping : A big market is set on every Wednesday in the main market area in Bicholim. Vendors from all over Goa come here to sell their goods. There are eating stalls which offer lip smacking snacks to the visitors. Bicholim is also known for its local crafts. All these crafts are prepared using brass, sea shells, brass and terracotta. Main craft items include dolls, mirrors, wall hangings and Chandeliers.

A city and municipal council in North Goa district, Bicholim is 35 km from Panaji, the state capital. It is easy to reach Bicholim as it is well-connected to major cities of the country via rail, air and road.
By Road
Bicholim can be accessed via road easily. The place is connected via road to all parts of the state and country. There are main national highways which pass through the city and make it easily accessible. There are many government and private buses which operate daily from Mapusa and Panaji to Bicholim.
By Rail
Madgaon junction is the main railway station of Goa. There are taxis and buses which operate take tourists to Bicholim. Bicholim is 56 km from the Madgaon station. However, Thivim Railway Station is 8.5 km from Bicholim which forms the nearest railway link.
By Air
Dabolim international airport is the nearest airport to Bicholim. Further, the airport is well-connected to the major airports of the country. Bicholim is 57 km from the airport. You can take cabs or buses to reach Bicholim.
