Situated amidst lush greenery at Curti; the taluka of Ponda which is very popular among the tourist. The place will automatically answer you what made Europeans to come India! You may pluck and taste pepper, peri-peri (one of the hottest chilies in the world) and other spices to tickle your taste buds.

4.     Pubs

Feni is the local made liquor very popular among the tourist too. There is no harm in trying a glass or two, but too much indulgence is a bit heavy. If you are looking out for some pubs, then NH-17 located 200 meters ahead of Coqueiro circle, Porvorim, Bardez is one stop location which offers highway dhaba style ambience gives a hippie feeling which serves multi-cuisine platters with fine wine, cocktails at a reasonable price. Chomp and crunch to the traditional fish curries and availability to coconut in abundance makes it the common base for most of the curries. Peculiar Ingo’s Saturday market is named after a German, which flourishes for six months of every winter and presents a habitat to junk jewelries, imported goods, hippie merchandises where haggling is almost non existence.

Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhagawan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, Mollem National Park is the habitat of some of the rarest species of animals. 200 species of birds which includes Indian great black woodpecker, Malabar pied hornbill, paradise flycatcher emerald dove and kingfisher to name a few. Mhadei sanctuary is known for its waterfalls specially the Vazra sakla and the Virdi falls in the Chorla ghats.
